Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 403 Dishwasher up and running in no time.
Inspect your AEG FAVORIT 403 dishwasher for any damage that may have occurred during transport. If you find any damage, contact your supplier immediately and do not proceed with installation.
Set up the dishwasher as close as possible to a water tap and a connection for waste water. Adjust the level using the adjustable feet, ensuring that the water inlet and drain hoses are not kinked or squashed.
Connect your dishwasher to either a cold or hot water supply with a maximum temperature of 60°C. Ensure that all connections are secure to prevent any water leaks.
Refer to the rating plate on the right inside edge of the door for details of the electrical connection. Ensure that the nominal voltage and current type match the installation site. Verify that the necessary electrical fusing is in place.
Before using your dishwasher for the first time, set the water softener according to the hardness of your local water supply. This ensures optimal washing results and prevents limescale buildup.
Unscrew the cap of the salt container and fill it with about 1 litre of water before adding salt for the first time. Then, add approximately 1.5 to 1.8 kg of regenerating salt. Clean any excess salt from the cap and close it securely.
Fill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid to ensure that your dishes dry properly and come out sparkling clean. Adjust the rinse aid dosage setting if necessary.
Before starting any dishwashing programme, except for the rinse and hold programme, add detergent to the dispenser. Use the reference marks inside the container to dose the correct amount, which depends on the soiling level and type of dishes.
Close the dishwasher door. Turn the programme selector dial to the desired programme. Press the On/Off button to start the machine. Avoid opening the door during operation; if necessary, the machine will pause and resume when the door is closed again.
Before closing the door, ensure that the spray arms can rotate freely. After loading, always close the door to avoid any hazards.
